Naturopathic Doctor Says:
Syrup no longer has to be plain - this version of syrup includes beautiful bioflavonoids. Because of their small surface area, small berries have evolved a high density of phytonutrients in order to protect their valuable content from the ravages of the sun. We gain these anti-oxidants and protective nutrients for ourselves when we eat them. Berries also contain blood sugar balancing nutrients, as does the cinnamon. Although it is still a sweet treat, it is a nice pancake complement
